Dr. Iñaki Quincoces was invited to the seminar “[K·future] El futuro ya es negocio en la Red de Parques Tecnológicos de Euskadi-Big Data” where key representatives of the BIGDATA industry present in the Basque Country’s network of Technological Parks showed different BIG DATA solutions. The presentation addressed how a no so technological industry like fisheries can be digitalised and monitored for improving processes and the profit of an enterprise. Particularly, SusTunTech was presented as an example of how to change a vessel from current Tropical Tuna purse seine into a digitalized boat using the data generated for through AI systems to improve the ecological and economic sustainability of fishing activities.
